Human Pyramids

Everyone has to have a hobby. This fellow(?) loves collecting photographs of human pyramids. He has available a sampling of his collection of human pyramids. They are broken into various categories such as: Wedding pyramids, Family pyramids, Exotic Location pyramids, and more. While the photos are not spectacular to my way of thinking, it is the "body of work" as a collection that makes this site interesting.

Take Out Your Frustrations And Pop A Few Bubbles

Wes sent this web site of Bubble Wrap. If you're feeling a little down and out snap the bubbles one at a time with a click. If you're already in Manic Mode, click the Manic Mode button and let the fireworks begin.

What Happens When You Put Engineers And Advertising Executives In The Same Room Together?

You get a two-minute commercial from Honda that took over 600 attempts before everything worked exactly right. This is a two-minute video and takes a minute or so to load even on broadband. I tried loading it on dial up but gave up after waiting about 15 minutes. The film is simply called "The Cog." If you have access to a broadband do treat yourself to this one.

Better Spelling Through Chemistry

It's a Sunday night, rerun season on TV, back to work tomorrow and too early to go to bed. What to do? Why, spell words using the chemical abbreviations from the Periodic Table of Elements. Of course! That's what you can do when you visit Galaxy Goo's Click-N-Spell With Elements. You are presented with a graphic representation of the Periodic table. Try spelling words by clicking on the elements in the table. The site will save your words. It's like a scientific version of Boggle without the need for the little squares to be touching one another.

Googlebombs, Away

We provided you with some Googlebombs in an earlier portion of this blog. Now there's a web site tracking their creation. Find out what happens when you type Find out what happens when you type "Miserable Failure" or "Talentless Hack" (without quotes) and click on "I'm feeling lucky." Visit Googlebomb Watch to find out about the older and newest Googlebombs.

Kinda Like Me But With Pretty Pictures

At the Institute of Official Cheer, you can find sites similar to those you find here except they have more graphics. The sites are just as good... or bad, depending on your taste, as the ones you find here. The author of the Institute site got a book deal out of it. Maybe there's hope for me. A really fun site.

You Mean A Computer Virus Can't Erase All CDs In A 100 Foot Radius?

Igor came through in the clutch. I hadn't had a really exciting site to post here for a couple of days and then I got to the office and my inbox had this little piece of magic. Igor doesn't write long messages. He just had the URL posted and that was enough. Enjoy this site and pay heed to its warnings about email hoaxes.

Republican Survivor: Who Will Survive?

Republican Survivor comes to us from DTripTV. The site provides brief profiles of the players, George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Katherine Harris, John Ashcroft, Tom Delay, and Ann Coulter. Along with this you can watch the episodes as they unfold. You can then vote players off just like the show it's based on. Don't forget to click on the link for "past webisodes" (the first webisode had a standard game of "Capture the Flag" with paint ball guns) and "This Week's Webisode." Thanks go to Wes for this one.

Smile! You've Got Email :-)

We've all seen them. Those little punctuation marks that are supposed to tell us if someone is happy, sad, or "just kidding." A series of colons, semi colons, commas, parenthesis and more. Well someone actually took the time to define their meanings. The site is called Smileys and Emoticons. Hope you enjoy this. *^_^*

Be Careful Who You Give Your Keys To

My friend and colleague, Larry, sent me this one. It's a short advertising video. See if you can figure out what the product is before the end of the commercial. Parental discretion is advised.

He Looka Like A Man

Mad TV has the incomparable Ms. Swann. Someone is looking for a criminal, ex boyfriend, doctor or lottery winner and they make the mistake of asking Ms. Swann. She has always seen someone and when asked what they looked like her response is always the same: "He looka like a man." Maybe Ms. Swann just needs a little criminal ID kit like the Morphases Editor. My former boss, Rebecca, told me about this one. Thanks, Rebecca.

A Kinder and Gentler 404 Error

"404 The site you are seeking cannot be found." That's awfully cold. Visit this kinder and gentler 404 error code for a more pleasant negative experience.
